The negatives first as there are so few. One person could not get their Cuisinart CGG-200 grill hot, so we’d assume a defective unit as the overwhelming positive ratings state that it gets very hot! One had arrived damaged, and a couple had problems linking to the 20lb gas tank, it was suggested this may be due to the safety feature on the gas tank and it needed to be reset perhaps. Some had their veggie tray missing on arrival too.

Well designed, attractive and culinary versatile. My requirements were 1) appearance 2) quality of burner/heat distribution and 3) space efficiency. A+ on all levels. It cooks well and having the thermostat on top is such a help. I have cooked pork loin chops, steak, sausage, chicken and last night a tri-tip. Using my digital thermometer – recipe temperatures and cooking times – confirmed that Cuisinart engineering was spot on.
