It is always a good idea to make an informed decision when buying a product, especially one that can be expensive and therefore you want it to last for more than one year.  So, no better way than to see what other owners of the product had to say about its quality and performance.

The 33 customer reviews on the Broil King Monarch 40 Grill are really quite positive, 28 of them are 4* and 5* ratings which is a very good majority.  There is two 3* and three 1* reviews. The positives are that it is considered to be very reasonably priced, it proved to be a good alternative to the bigger more expensive brands for some people.  It was also reported to cook well and evenly, the upper section where the cooking takes place is of a good build quality, and it was not manufactured in the Far East.

The negative points that were mentioned were sadly that a number of them had arrived in damaged condition and in some instances had parts missing, this is obviously disappointing as it is no fault of the grill.  A few considered the stand and wheels to be a lesser quality and could do with being more robust.

Broil King Gas Grills proudly present the Broil King Monarch 40, and what a great looking grill it is.  It is up to the task no matter if you are cooking alone or for a party.  It boasts 520 square inches of total cooking area, 350 square inches for the primary grilling area.

The Broil King Monarch 40 stainless steel Super 8 infinity burner will cook your food evenly and will prevent cold spots. Searing will be no problem as you can heat this grill up to 600 degrees F in rapid time.

The cooking grids are made from porcelain-coated cast-iron, these help maintain the heat, and because of their design they help with the all important clean up too.  Flare-ups are reduced  because the Flav-R-Wave system, which is constructed from stainless steel, vaporizes the juices which helps to add a barbecue flavor to your foods.

You have also got the added bonus of a side burner, so you can cook up your sauces or beans for example, but when not in use the lid closes over the burner which will give you an extra preparation area.

When you are ready to get started just light up using the Sure-Lite rotary ignition system, it’s quick and easy.  There is an Accu-Temp thermometer made from stainless steel, it comprises of an internal probe which will help you to monitor the temperature.

The construction is sturdy, it comprises of a thick Therma-Cast aluminum oven, this will retain the heat and is anti-rust.  There are shelves to assist with preparation and use as a work area, these can be dropped down when not in use, and you have useful hooks for your barbecue tongs and forks.

This grill got high marks on a grill-review site. Had a good price here and so chose it based on positive reviews. Love it.  grid is cast iron which is better for grilling…plus gives nice sear marks. Flameup preventer works great and is far superior to other grills I’ve owned. Can cook really hot, with very few flameups.  I am VERY pleased with this purchase.
